Worley, a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts, has been awarded the final FEED contract by First Ammonia for its groundbreaking electric ammonia facility in Victoria on the Gulf Coast of Texas.
First Ammonia is proud to announce that it will be partnering with Cox Group USA for the realization of its green ammonia project in Victoria, Texas, scheduled to close later this year. Grupo Cox is a global, integrated water and energy utility company. Based in Spain, public since November 2024, Grupo Cox develops sustainable solutions in high-growth markets.
First Ammonia is on track for an FID and commencement of construction in 2026 for its first phase 200 MW green ammonia plant in Victoria, Texas. Topsoe’s internal decision to reassess its plans for commercialization of its SOEC technology will not materially delay that process, and we will select an alternate technology for the hydrogen production portion of our plant.
