First Ammonia is proud to announce that it will be partnering with Cox Group USA for the realization of its green ammonia project in Victoria, Texas, scheduled to close later this year. Grupo Cox is a global, integrated water and energy utility company. Based in Spain, public since November 2024, Grupo Cox develops sustainable solutions in high-growth markets. Its business model combines long-term concession assets with in-house industrial Project delivery capabilities, positioning it as a unique platform capable of developing, building, and operating critical infrastructure.

Most recently, on April 24, 2026, Grupo Cox completed the acquisition of Iberdrola’s 16 generation assets in Mexico totaling 2.6 GW and is now the only vertically integrated platform in the country. This acquisition brings the total installed capacity built
and / or owned by Grupo Cox globally, north of 15 GW.
